NGL is pleased to announce the addition of well-known and respected funeral service professional Melissa Posey Loose as Assistant Vice President, Marketing Communications. Loose will lead the marketing and communications teams in the development of strategic internal and external marketing communications plans to promote NGL’s brand and further enhance NGL’s position as a leader in the Preneed insurance industry.

National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL) has been recognized as one of the Best Places to Work 2023 by Madison Magazine. The Best Places to Work award is based on an employee engagement survey administered by Quantum Workplace, a third-party human resources technology provider that measures employee feedback on six key areas: communication and resources, individual needs, manager effectiveness, personal engagement, team dynamics and trust in leadership.

The completely refreshed and reimagined workspace at NGL's headquarters in Madison has received a Silver Design Award for Office/Corporate 21,000 to 49,000 square feet from the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Wisconsin for Strang, Inc.’s design efforts.

Roberta’s House, a grief support center based in Baltimore, Md will use the $10,000 donation to provide free services to children and their families attending the “Families Healing Together” Program. It’s a 10-week program that provides meals, art supplies, journals, counseling, and educational materials to help families in their grief journey. The donation was presented during the Professional Women’s Conference Reconnect: Women Making Waves event during the National Funeral Directors Association International Conference & Expo.
