John Baker, Vice President, Strategic Partner Development, has announced his upcoming December 2022 retirement from NGL. Baker’s experience in the funeral service industry spans three decades. He is a well-known and knowledgeable leader who has participated in countless industry events and a popular speaker at national conventions and meetings.

Carl Wackerle, Regional Vice President Sales, announces his retirement from National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL) on April 13, 2021. Wackerle’s experience in the industry spans two decades. He is a well-known and influential executive who has participated in many industry events and has been a popular speaker at national conventions and meetings.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Mike Stephens, retired NGL Regional Vice President. Mike retired in February 2019 after 35 years in the funeral industry and more than 10 years with NGL.

NGL has promoted individuals and reorganized the structure of its Preneed sales team to further strengthen strategic partnerships and deepen relationships to enhance Preneed sales growth potential.
