Brian Saperstein joins NGL as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer

National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL) is pleased to welcome Brian Saperstein to the team as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer. Saperstein is an accomplished senior leader with more than 20 years of experience in the technology and insurance industries. He joins NGL’s leadership team and will be managing the evolution of IT capability growth, with a focus on strategic alignment.

His experience in setting strategic direction and leading transformation efforts will be invaluable as we transform our operating environment, enhance our digital capabilities and improve our customer experience in the preneed market,” shared Nancy Stoddard, Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer at NGL.

Saperstein has held several senior leadership roles, including most recently at Sapiens where he helped clients set their transformative direction, and as a partner, ensured execution, oversight and program governance. Prior to that role, he was the Chief Transformation Officer at Sammons Financial Group where he led and delivered numerous mission-critical, strategic programs. Additionally, he was Director at PriceWaterhouseCoopers where he consulted on business strategy, operations/organizational strategy, and complex program design and execution.

Saperstein holds a Master of Business Administration, with honors, from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship and Accounting. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Saperstein also holds a Leadership Institute Fellow designation for financial services leadership from LIMRA.

As an active member of the community, Saperstein has spent nearly a decade on the Board of Directors for The Boulevard of Chicago and is an applicant interviewer for the University of Pennsylvania.  

Saperstein resides in Illinois with his wife and two daughters.
