National Guardian Life Insurance Company Preneed Single Pay applications no longer require health question

National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL) is pleased to announce select Single Pay Preneed applications will be processed as Standard Issue regardless of how the health questions are answered, effective February 15, 2023.

“NGL is focused on being a leader in the Preneed marketplace. With 25 years of industry experience, we are constantly looking for ways to evolve and provide better product offerings for our customers and agents,” said Jeremy Ragsdale, Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer at NGL. “The update to select Preneed Single Pay applications will provide an increase in commissions for our agents and Marketing Partners, as well as simplifying the application process for potential customers who are looking to preplan and prefund their funerals.”

Benefits to the customer include: 

• Better premium rates for customers who would have selected “Yes” to the health question.
• Customers no longer have to answer the health question on a Single Pay.
• More individuals can sign on behalf of the insured when irrevocably assigning.

Benefits to agents include:

• Single Pay commissions will always be at the Standard Issue rate.
• Single Pay will follow the Standard Issue chargeback schedule.
