Jeremy Ragsdale joins NGL as Senior Vice President, Product & Solutions

National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL) is pleased to welcome Jeremy Ragsdale to the team as Senior Vice President, Product & Solutions. Ragsdale has more than 20 years of leadership expertise encompassing all aspects of a life insurance company, including advanced markets, distribution, executive leadership, IT, marketing, new business, operations, product, project and risk.

Ragsdale will focus on product design and research to enhance and grow NGL’s individual insurance product offerings.

“Jeremy is an accomplished leader in the industry who is successful in managing the organizational strategies of multi-million dollar insurance businesses. His knowledge and background will provide a valuable perspective as NGL concentrates on its future growth and development opportunities,” shared Knut A. Olson, NGL President & CEO.

Most recently, Ragsdale was Vice President of Product and Pricing at Foresters Financial where he served as Chief Product Officer for all Life and Annuity products across the U.S. and Canada. In this role he delivered seven products that accounted for a 30% increase in annualized premium and created new products in Canada to grow annualized premium from $25 million to $50 million.

Prior to joining Foresters Financial he held several senior leadership roles at life insurance companies where his responsibilities included business leadership, strategy/implementation, sales growth, portfolio management, and mergers and acquisitions.

Ragsdale holds a Master of Business Administration from Drake University. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems from Iowa State University. He has participated in many speaking engagements, including the 2019 HRPA Annual Conference and Trade Show in Canada, LIMRA conferences and many other insurance industry meetings.
