Kimberly Shaul promoted to Senior Vice President

National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL), a Madison-based mutual life insurance company is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors appointed Kimberly A. Shaul, J.D., as Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary.

Shaul began her career with NGL in 2014 as Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. During her tenure with NGL she has been responsible for leading and directing all legal matters relating to NGL and its subsidiaries and has provided legal expertise on a variety of insurance regulatory and compliance issues.   

“Kim’s extensive background in insurance has proven valuable in her role as General Counsel. She’s played a major role in NGL’s growth and development and her expertise will continue to be integral to NGL’s ongoing success as we look toward the future,” said Knut A. Olson, President & CEO of NGL.

Prior to her role at NGL, she served in both legal and business leadership roles for several insurance companies and for the State of Wisconsin. Shaul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and Juris Doctorate from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Shaul serves as Vice Chair for the State of Wisconsin’s College Savings Program Board and is also a director on SSM Health St. Mary’s Foundation Board.
