Carmen Raha joins NGL as Second Vice President and Controller
The Board of Directors for National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL), a mutual insurance company located in Madison, Wis., appointed Carmen Raha, CPA to the position of Second Vice President and Controller. Raha will oversee the accounting department, manage the financial reporting, accounting, disbursement and payroll functions, and ensure compliance standards and regulations.
“We are pleased to have Carmen join our executive staff. She is a dedicated financial leader who has a demonstrated expertise in leading productive teams and commitment to organization growth,” said Derek Metcalf, NGL Vice President and Assistant Chief Financial Officer.
Raha joins NGL from Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited where she was most recently Controller. She has a record of streamlining existing processes and implementing technology tools to achieve operational efficiencies and effective internal controls.

Raha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Management from Upper Iowa University. She also is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
